Day 3 – Alcatraz & Chinatown

This half-day tour includes the Alcatraz ferry tickets, cable car tickets, and a 90 min tour of Chinatown. Get practical tips from your guide on visiting Alcatraz and using your cable car tickets then follow them through the heart of the largest Chinese community in the Western World. (Duration: 2 to 4 hours)

Day 4 – Golden Gate Bay Cruise

Want to experience San Francisco’s must-do attraction? Take the 60-minute Golden Gate Bay Cruise and you’ll see why it’s the perfect introduction to San Francisco. The narrated one-hour cruise does a loop of San Francisco Bay, sailing next to Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Days 5 to 7 – Coastal Drive

Collect your car from the downtown depot and start your drive along the Big Sur, one of the most the world’s most iconic and beautiful coastal roads. Overnights in Monterey, Cambria and Santa Barbara.

Days 8 to 10 – Los Angeles

Take in the famous sights or the City of Angels.
See the Hollywood sign, The Chinese Theatre, find your favourite star’s handprints on Hollywood Boulevard, or head to Beverly Hills to star spot on the famous Rodeo Drive. Perhaps visit Universal Studios for a movie set tour and try some of the fun rides, or head to Santa Monica to see the pier and the funky artistic district of Venice Beach.
3 nights LA.

Days 11 & 12 – San Diego

Head back on the road to the beautiful city of San Diego. Drop off your car at a downtown depot and explore. Maybe check out the world-famous San Diego Zoo, wander around the Gaslamp Quarter of the old town, or perhaps just relax at the beach.
2 nights San Diego.
