Days 1 & 2 – Your journey begins in Nashville

Begin with a musical experience of the deep south by exploring Nashville. Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, Music City, and Music Row. Take in one of the many local shows and soak up the unique atmosphere of this famous city.
2 nights Nashville

Days 3 & 4 – Memphis

Pick up your car and drive to Memphis (approximately 3 hours drive – rail options are also available). Another iconic musical city with many places to discover. Visit Sun Studios, the Rock and Soul Hall of Fame, stop by the Lorraine Motel and pay your respects to the late Martin Luther King memorial. Don’t miss a trip to Graceland to visit the King of Rock and Roll. As the sun sets and the neon lights up walk along Beal Street and enjoy all the rock, soul and blues bars along the way.
2 nights Memphis

Day 5 – Jackson

Continue your drive to Jackson, the state capital of Mississippi. (Approximately 3 hours drive).
1 night in Jackson

Days 6 & 7 – New Orleans

Continue south to the world capital of Jazz to complete your musical adventure. (approximately 3 hours drive). Drop off the car downtown.
Explore the beautiful streets of the French Quarter. Walk along the famous Bourbon Street, stop by Preservation Hall for one of their incredible jazz concerts or the oldest Jazz club; Fitzel’s European. Wander down to Frenchman’s street for some of the best music in town. See Louis Armstrong Park, Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square. Don’t forget to try a Beignet at Cafe Du Monde.
4 nights New Orleans

Day 8 – Day tour – Double plantation tour along the bayou

Visit two of the most beautiful and historic plantations in Louisiana. Learn about the locations, homes and the people that lived there.

Day 9 – New Orleans

Spend more time in the city. Why not take a paddle steamer ride along the Mississippi, a voodoo tour with one of the local voodoo historians or head to the beautiful garden district for the afternoon.

Day 10 – Continue to your onward destination.
